Are you ready and willing to tackle invasive plants in your yard? Then take the Clean North Invasive Plant Pledge!
So why pitch in to help stop invasive plants? They pose a serious risk to our natural areas, crowding out native plants like trillium and trout lilies. The loss of native plants impacts native pollinators, birds, and other wildlife.
And invasives can harm us, too. Japanese knotweed, for example, can grow through driveways and foundations! It takes a lot of time and hard work to remove it.
When you take the pledge, remember that you don’t have to do the work perfectly. Any effort matters!
