Het everyone thie is the sheet you can give to local
businesses when you approach them for donations. This
gives them an idea of who we are and what we do! Okay

         Y.E.P (Youth Environmental Program) 

What is Y.E.P?
Hi my name is Tiffany Parsons and as president of
Y.E.P I would like to tell you a little bit about this
exciting new program. This is a program, which
incorporates community involvement and teaching/
speaking out (awareness about the environment). The
aim of this program is to try and better our
environment. The earth is a magnificent place and I
think we should look after it. Right know we are in
the primary stages of planning and organising
different community activities such as: Spring Clean
Up, Tree Planting (as the weather gets better), going
to elementary schools and talking to the children
about the environment and many more events. 
Our advisor for this program is an organisation called
Clean North. They provide us with the necessities
needed to start this undertaking (ie. a place to
meet). We also receive guidance and assistance from
Don McGorman, an executive with the Voyageur Trail
Association and because of the enormous support
provided to us we are able to begin Y.E.P.  

Y.E.Ps Mission Statement: 
We are a non- profit Youth Environmental Program
(Y.E.P) working to improve the Sault. Ste. Marie
environment by building awareness and carrying out
projects involving youth and the community at large. 

What can you do to help Y.E.P?
Y.E.P would like to get started as soon as possible
and for this to happen we are looking to the community
for assistance. If your business is able to make a
contribution your money will go towards: purchasing
specific equipment required to started and complete
projects (ie, garbage bags, rakes, trees ect). As a
non-profit organisation, those who make donations can
make cheques payable to Clean North on behalf of
Y.E.P, and therefor receiving a tax receipt. All
donations are more than appreciated and for your
support your business will be posted on our web site
as well as a link can be implemented if your
association has a web page. Plus any business that
donates 50$ or more will have their logo printed on
the back of our Y.E.P shirts recognising our local
supporters. If you are interested in helping Y.E.P
