We have insurance. I'm sending off a cheque today to LMS Prolink, a group that insures Green Community member groups. It's cheaper too. $810 for Nov 15 to Oct 1, including PST.
I spoke with Lauren Haines at GLP this afternoon. She's very sympathetic to our tree chipping project and says "there's someone else here I'm going to talk with about this" and get back to me right away. Cross your fingers. And toes, if you're not wearing really snug boots.
