unfortunate news story

Thanks Andre, this has actually been quite a strain, but even more so when 
I heard the radio this morning.

Tim assures me that he was emphatic with Steve Butland (who, unknown to me, 
solicited Tim's help and that of a few other Clean North members when he 
nominated me) that I was _not_ the founder of Clean North, that it was very 
important to get that right, that Andrea Welz and a number of other people 
started it.  But nevertheless, somewhere along the line someone decided to 
make that up again.

You are right, of course, that this is a great boost to the local 
environmental movement.  Thanks for the kind words.
