Re: christies trailer

You guys are the greatest!

I will be there at 5 pm with the extension cord and the keys that we still have at the office.

Derek, please phone Palmer Paving again asap. We need at least 12 barricades to get started.

I don't think it will be a problem to have a smaller Pile #1 than before, but will defer to Murray's judgement on that one. If he wants the bins moved, we'll ask John M. to send a truck early next week, and we'll move the trailer again then. Until then I think we should just set it up in the space available.

Re: Sunday. I think we won't really need too many bodies so soon, most people keep the tree up until New Year's anyway. I will schedule a couple more people, just so that 3-6 pm person doesn't get too lonely, but will also go there every 3 hrs all day to make sure it's not out of hand.

We'll also need a few signs up in the trailer for site supers, such as phone numbers of people, some reprints of things that are in the site super's binder, etc. I'll have a look through that stuff tomorrow at the office, and get the binder ready by Sunday too.

NO barricades at Canadian Tire. I also drove by a couple of other
construction sites...no luck!!!

I stole one from St Mary's College and on from St Basil's!!!! ...and
blocked off the area for the trailer.

I may deliver the trailer in the morning. I will be there at 5pm
Friday....with blocks and a level.

The 3 bins were delivered today (Thursday).

Okay, the start of a plan here: (If you see your name next to something
you can't do, let us know asap).

Soon,

Peter will go to the Canadian Tire end of the mall and find some
barricades. He'll store them in his truck or in his workshop until
Friday morning. If they're not there, he will let us know by email and
Derek will call Palmer Paving again.

Friday 7 am

Peter and Murray will meet at the mall and set up barricades where the
trailer is going to go, so that no one parks in that spot. They will
also meet the drivers from Soo Disposal, bringing the three bins.
(Peter are they coming at 7:30 am Friday as they did last year?)

Sometime Friday

The PUC will hook up the power cable on the pole and leave it for us.

Friday 5 pm

Peter, Don, Murray, and Kathie will meet to move the trailer into
position and hook up the electricity. Kathie will bring the trailer
keys and the extension cord from the office, Murray will bring the site
plan, Peter will bring the trailer keys that he has, his brother in
law's truck to move the trailer with, and the cinder blocks. Murray
will lay out barricades for the first tree pile, Don will level the
trailer with help from the rest.

okay?
