OK, Dan Lajambe has offered us one 20' x 20' tent for our food service tent,
and two others he can set up side-by-side with no wall in between, for our
three rs festival tent. Don and I discussed his price and agreed it was a
good deal and we could afford it from the project budget, so I've called him
back and accepted. He will set up all three tents at the same time Friday
late afternoon, and take them down Monday morning. We need to:
1. be there to show him where we want them
2. go there with a push broom and gently remove snow, from underneath,
whenever it accumulates on the tents.
I will visit the site Thursday afternoon to determine location, and I can be
there or communicate with whoever is Site Super for Friday afternoon. Also
on Friday afternoon Canadian Waste will deliver three roll-out carts and 24
Blue Boxes to be used for the materials for our Reuse partners. These can
be stored overnight in the metals dumpster.
Don and I both agreed that the prospector tent with the woodstove would also
be nice to have, so I called Mark and left a message about that. I will
find three volunteers to help Mark put up this tent 8 am Sunday, and take it
down 3 pm Sunday. Exactly where it will go I am not too sure, yet!
I called Tarp Farm and cancelled the 15 x 20 tent they were planning to
deliver for us.
Also, the Shriners are bringing a 12' truck, not their big transport, and
the Soup Kitchen are bringing their van.
