We have enough other measures in place, I'm not completely freaked out about
no more AVG updates for a short while. First of all, our email scanner is
the best on the market and adapts to emerging threats without intervention.
Second, our firewall architecture effectively protects our border from
direct inbound threats. Third, we have on-demand scanning of all user files
for known viruses on the file server. The client computers don't come in to
play.

Finally, this is just no more updates until we update to AVG7, not AVG6
completely ceasing to function. We may even be safer with AVG6 as the
management interface actually works. AVG7s does not as of yet, which is why
I was holding off on the upgrade, then I got caught up in work and haven't
got around to it.

I intend to have a solution before this is a major issue. Fear not.
