The shutdown procedure is working fine now (after discovering a
documentation error, a typo, and a piece of incomplete documentation). I
miss the simple days of single-power supply machines that let me run the
simple UPS software.

Don, go ahead and have your guy chart the power. The UPSs will not chirp on
power failure, but the "on battery" light will come on, so someone will need
to have a look at it to identify when that circuit is found.

They will last 7 minutes on battery and then shut down gracefully... they
will wait three minutes after line power is restored before attempting to
power on again.

Thanks, all.
