I don't notice a single line over 80 characters, or 76 for that matter.

Certainly no extra line feeds or anything of the likes.

Perhaps your mail reader is reformatting messages on you.

PS, when criticizing someone's netiquette, you might want to be extra careful
yourself.  It's considered very bad form to quote something and not comment
after the quote.  Quoting text is considered an indication that a reply is
below and one should keep reading.
