Can't find any info on that exact model. It seems like the 4300 is a 48bit 1200x600 USB scanner. Quality should be very good if we can get it to work. OpenBSD doesn't recognize it natively, but sane can make it work with a specific firmware version. (Jim will be cringing right about now). I've never played with this stuff, so I can't guarantee success, but if it's free, I suggest grabbing it and recruiting someone like Jim to try to make it work. > Can we use this at the office? The print server and a scanner really have nothing to do with each other besides that you can scan images and then print them to a printer using the print server. -Dan -- "Burnished gallows set with red Caress the fevered, empty mind Of man who hangs bloodied and blind To reach for wisdom, not for bread." -- Deoridhe Grimsdaughter
