They're 3c509s.. You can find two driver disks online at 3Com's website in
their support section under "Etherlink III".

In those utilities is a DOS exe that allows you to change between the AUI
and BNC ports.

The 3c509 and 3c509b use the same utility.

There's also a Linux binary that allows you to program the eeprom that you
can find on sunsite, or meatlab, or ibiblio, or whatever they call it this
week.  ftp://metalab.unc.edu/pub/ is the most recent name I remember, and
it'll probably still work.  Again, look for 3Com Etherlink III.

Let me know if you have any trouble with them, I have a ton of experience
with these cards.
