"Techie help" is a _very_ ambiguous term.  I'd be more than happy to tell
them what kind of cables they need, where to get them, how to set the
jumpers on the back of the units, and then what drivers to use to talk to
the machines... I'd even suggest where to buy pens, but there's no way I'd:

a) go get the cables myself
b) set the jumpers myself
c) install the drivers myself
d) get the pens myself
e) plug the plotters in myself
f) install the pens myself

I'm copying techies in case anyone feels differently, but I doubt it.
