1. Turn it off
2. Remove the paper trays (look in where the paper slides in... is any paper
stuck?)
3. On the left side, there's a handle you can pull top open a side
compartement... open it and look for stuck paper.
4. Open the top and look for paper

If you find any stuck paper, remove it being careful not to leave torn bits
of paper in the printer, then close it all up, put the trays in and power it
on.

If that doesn't fix things, then, yes, it'll be a job I'd volunteer Jim for.

How much slower?  1.1x?  1.5x?  2x?  10x?

I've only ever had one really spotty report of this, so I don't even know if
it's a real problem.  If you can get me some more information, I'd be
grateful.

Is it just chewy or Jabba and/or Lando too?  (Jabba should be noticably
slower than Chewy... is it?)

Is the "Ready" (or is it "Receiving", I can never remember with those old
things) light blinking the whole time while you're waiting, or does it spend
a fair ammount of time solid (off or on, I forget)?
