RE: Carole Rubin note

Hello to all, I have checked on room availability and suitability and it
seems like either Sault College or the classrooms in the John Rhodes Centre
would be best. The latter can hold 50 and a partition could be opened to
hold twice that if needed. The Rhodes site is more central and is a City
facility. The cost is $25 but there is no equipment except a portable
screen. The College site with several room choices including the Native
Centre, which we have used for Northwatch meetings, has access to all of the
possible equipment needs. I don't think a microphone and speakers would be
needed unless we are in a very large space but those were mentioned in the
original message from K.( K. could you please confirm this need). It may be
a little more complicated as I will be away on the day of the talk as now
planned.
Please give input as the speaker wants to know asap for the publicity
package.

Hello GREEN THUMB/GREEN PLANET Hosts, confirmed and un-confirmed:

The flowers on my Red Flowering Currant bush (Ribes sanguineum) are
beginning to blossom, and spring is a springing here.

Those of you who have confirmed presentations will be receiving pdf's of a
colour and b&w poster for the event today or tomorrow to add your venue and
time information to before you print and post them. The posters were sent
to one contact person for each event, unless the sponsors are in diferent
cities, so please check with your co-sponsors/workers. If you have
confirmed your event, and do not receive a poster by Wednesday, please let
me know!

Those confirmed hosts who have yet to secure a venue, please try to nail
one down, and email me immediately at crubin@dccnet.com with the full
street address, for the itinerary, and press releases that will go out in
the media kits. By February 20th, if at all possible...

Some of you (confirmed hosts) have sent in media lists (thank-you,
thank-you) to alicia@harbourpublishing.
To the rest of you: PLEASE get those media lists of mainstream media
contacts (in Excel, if at all possible) in to Alicia by the end of next
week (February 20th) at the latest, so she can send out the kits by the end
of the month. The publishing House gets insanely busy after that, so her
time allotment for this project is limited.

Thanks so much!

And for those working on confirming events in your cities...I am keeping
my fingers crossed! Of course, due to time constraints at my Publisher's,
the sooner the better.

I have attached a Draft Itinerary so all can have a look at what the tour
is looking like. Please check over your entry and let me know if I have
made any errors or omissions (i.e.. phone #'s, sponsors)

Thanks to all, for all your work and enthusiasm.

Yours truly,

Carole Rubin

p.s happy valentine's day to all!
