Dear David, Lucy, Suzanne, Jack, and Bill,

Thanks for offering to help with the organizing of the Carole Rubin talk. 
Now you all have each other's email addresses!  I could subscribe all of 
you to the pest mailing list if you like, then you could just email each 
other by sending one message to pest@lists.cleannorth.org.  Let me know if 
you want this.

Suzanne has offered to help with posters and to be there for the 
presentation with "coffee and donuts".  Bill has offered help with putting 
up posters.  Jack will be away for a few weeks but back the week before the 
presentation, has offered accommodation at his home for Carole and to be 
there for the presentation for logistical support.  David has offered to 
arrange for a Sault College room if that's the choice of the group.

The first thing we need is the room.  We need to tell Carole's promoter 
where she'll be speaking, so that they can start their media work.

David, does the library still have a big room?  We used to have speakers 
there but not in years since they carved up their downstairs room into so 
many smaller offices.  I also would not like to go with the Civic Centre 
because we could advertise and then get bumped due to a spring election 
call.  They use up all available space at the Civic Centre for advance 
polling, debates, etc.  Another option besides SC would be Sir James Dunn's 
auditorium - it's cozy and might be just right for this talk.  Either way, 
we'll need a microphone and speakers.  It would be terribly convenient if 
the location could provide this equipment too.

I must emphasize that apart from emails keeping everyone communicating, I 
will not be actively involved in this.  I've just started a new job and am 
quite stressed with it.

So, who will take the lead on finding the room?
