Re: petition...heads up

Hello all, I spoke to Frank and explained the risks of naming individuals in emails and I think he understands the situation. He called me and said that email was sent in the heat of emotion and he intends to send her an apology and confirm that it was his initiative alone and was not meant to represent any group or organization. As it turns out the Clean North office has not been identified as a place to leave the petition so the association with CN may be an issue.

However we may want to ponder our position where we sponsor a workshop on nuclear power in the Bruce peninsula yet shy away from very real air quality issues in the Sault!

We might want to reconsider our decision to allow the the "clean air" petition to be dropped off at our office. Some of the petition proponents are circulating some pretty personal attacks on individuals and I don't think we should leave any allusion that we are connected in any way.
There is a potential for this to get pretty ugly.
