Maybe she's youth. Maybe YEP is the answer. k--On Tuesday, April 29, 2008 8:50 AM -0400 Don McGorman <mcgormd@cleannorth.org> wrote:
Folks: I'm not sure what to say to this person. Inviting people to a Clean North meeting has proven in the past to be the kiss of death to future participation. The next few meetings are likely to be somewhat ugly as we struggle with our financial and organizational problems. Ideally it would be nice to have orientation meetings for new people so to get to know one another and go from there. The only CN projects I'm involved with now are my own (compost waste collection, community garden, community tree planting and litter cleanups) as well as supporting Jen with YEP, Peter with rain barrels and Laura and Suzanne with Seedy Saturday. Christmas tree chipping is the only other community project that is likely to continue. If you have thoughts on what to do here please respond otherwise we can discuss at the CN meeting on 6 May. I went to the Garbage: The Revolution Starts at Home and wasreally excited to see the amount of people that showed up. My friend and I are interested in participating in a group that is involved with Sault Ste. Marie and the environment. We would like to know more about Clean North and as well as any other citizen's groups that are here. Thank you for your time. :)_________________________________________________________________ Find hidden words, unscramble celebrity names, or try the ultimatecrossword puzzle with Live Search Games.
