Hi Jack,I would be very much in favour of nominating TransPro again. Something to consider:
Sending in the form filled in according to the directions (50 words or less) has not gotten us success in the past.
The directions say one thing, and then they say another (attach more information on separate pages, if you want to). So we're really not limited to their 50 word space on the form. Considering the merits of our nomination of TransPro in the past, I begin to suspect that the winners had more extensive nominations, not limited to the form.
Do we want to improve the odds of TransPro being honoured, by making the extra effort of compiling a winning nomination? If we don't want to go to the extra effort, is it worth going to any effort at all and doing the form?
Considering the "last-BOYD-as-we've-known-it" status this spring, I'd be in favour of the extra effort. It would be a nice big thank you to TransPro, from the whole city, for allowing this to happen for all these years leading up to the city's taking responsibility.
However, I have no time to do anything other than review the submission and offer opinions/advice/editing services to the person or persons actually doing the work, so I don't think my "vote" counts on this!

CN has been invited to submit a nomination for the award "to honour a business for outstanding commitment to the not-for-profit community". Do we want to submit and, if so, for whom? Transpro again? When decided, I will send the form.Deadline is March 16. Jack
