Hi,

Suzanne called me right after she got the call from the police, about 11:30.

A number of windows/doors on Queen were smashed tonight, including the CN 
door and Cutter's Alley.  Suzanne and I went down there and went over 
everything with the police.  As far as we can tell there was nothing taken, 
and nothing damaged besides the door and the lock on the desk (the drawer 
was pried open and the tab bent).  The servers are still running, the 
computers all present and accounted for, the cheques in the deposit book 
are still there, no cash had been present as far as we could tell.

Follow-up is needed, however.

First, the carpeting is covered in fine glass shards, a thorough vacuuming 
is needed.

Next, the door glass is just caulked in place.  We need to fit the door 
with some wooden trim to hold it properly.  We could get a pro to do this, 
or if any of you have the skills and willingness, we could do it in-house.

And, we need to see about a repair to that lock on the desk drawer.  Maybe 
a phone call to Greenwoods?

Peter, Jack, and Don, could you please let me know if you are willing to 
take on any of these tasks?

And Jim, if you would have a look over the computer stuff just to make 
certain there really isn't anything missing, I'd appreciate it.  It looks 
ok to my eye.

Suzanne and I had a lovely midnight visit with the Parsons whilst waiting 
for the glass guy.  We are lucky to have such great neighbours.
