RE: Downtown cleanup

I conducted a litter cleanup last week out back of 736 Queen and swept the walk in front.

Too busy Friday April 21 to do anything more.

Attention: All Downtown Businesses

"CLEAN THE QUEEN"

We are declaring Friday, April 21 as the official "Spring Cleanup day" for the downtown.

Recent Public feedback has indicated that they would like to see a cleaner downtown.

The City has done their part by cleaning the streets, washing the sidewalks and putting out the garbage cans. The Parking Division has been asked to pick up sand and also clean the parking lots. We are putting together volunteer groups to work with us on alley ways and public walkways

We encourage all businesses to take some time on Friday to clean an area near your business that could use some tender loving care. Don't forget the area at the rear of your store.

We're proud of our downtown - Let's show it!
