It's a wrap yet again.  Our fifteenth year of tree chipping came to a quick 
and safe conclusion this afternoon.  When we left, the trailer was cleaned 
out, the barricades stacked, and about twelve trees that had arrived after 
the grinder left the site were sitting in a pile in front of the trailer. 
I imagine there are a few more by now.

Congratulations everyone on a job well done.  Special thanks to Peter and 
Don who decided early on that they would cover my usual tasks in addition 
to their own, to free me to think about the election.  I appreciate that so 
much.

Speaking of the election.  Tuesday night we have a CN meeting scheduled, 
but it's also the night of the Aboriginal Affairs all-candidates meeting at 
AUC.  Having spoken with several of you at the tree chipping today, I don't 
think there is any opposition to postponing the CN meeting so that we can 
attend this debate.  So I am calling for the CN meeting to be changed to 
Jan 17th.

I'll put a msg on the phone machine to that effect, and phone MJ about it.
