I've been thinking about the CN website and would like to throw out some
ideas for changes:

1. Under the Newsletter tab there are only two newsletters available, Vol
14 #1 & #2. Suggest posting the rest to date as it looks like we have
not published a newsletter in the past nine months.

Yes. Dan had been holding off posting these until the new website format was up and running. It's time.

2. Suggest renaming the 'Volunteers' tab as 'Employment' since that's
what most of the posts are

Its actually Help Wanted, on the sidebar. The Volunteers link should go elsewhere, see below.

3. Suggest a new tab 'Volunteer' under 'About' Us which links to a new page telling people about general volunteer opportunities that exist and how to get involved (I would be willing to compose the draft text for this page)

You already did, actually. And it's already on the site, too! We just have the link wrong. I'd pointed this out to Dan a few months ago but this fix got caught in the new website edition delays, too.

4. Suggest a new tab 'Donate', 'Contribute' or 'Support' under 'About Us'
which links to a new page which explains that we are a registered
charity, receive no government grants and depend almost entirely on
donations. We could provide our charitable registration number and
provide a link to the Revenue Canada Charities Branch web-site for anyone
who wants to check if we are legit. The mailing address would also
appear.

Good idea. Not certain about posting our number, but maybe. I'd want Ralph's advice on that one, could people write their own receipts? Would it be just as easy to search Charities Branch for our name? If not, maybe post the number.

5. Suggest a new tab 'Contact Us' under 'About Us' which clearly lays out
the mailing address, telephone number, and e-mail address. (Not sure
about posting the fax number as that might encourage junk faxes? If
someone wants to fax us let them ask for the number)

Another good idea. Some people miss our address on the About Us page and I occasionally get complaining emails about that.

Thanks!
