idea for transportation project

Develop a documentary for Cable, about transportation issues in SSM.

Rough outline:

Transportation as an environmental issue, transportation alternatives:
city bus, school bus, bike, walk, taxi, rental car, private auto

Environmental impacts of each choice, emissions (GHGs, criteria air
pollutants, idling), parking, congestion
Health impacts of air pollution, health benefits of active transportation
choices

Profile: the Community Bicycle Workshop
Profile: the Vehicle Emissions Clinic
Profile: City transit


Each of these three programs could contribute $ towards hiring a producer
for the documentary (less from the CBW as it's most limited).  Talent
would be volunteer, Shaw cable would contribute editing and
post-production costs.  If it were to air in the month before the Vehicle
clinic, we could add a trailer line about the dates and times of the
clinic.
