Dear All, My apologies for not being at the meeting last night but I had it in my plans for tonight. I was at the Library at 6:30 and drove home just as I should have been turning to go to the CN Office. At home I read my email that I should have read earlier. Hopefully the minutes will fill me in. As concerns the pesticide bylaw issue, my thoughts would be for CN to write a letter to the Algoma Medical Oficer of Health (I will compose and circulate for review prior to sending) asking for his position on pesticide use especially in light of west nile virus paranoia. This appears to be the procedure required for the issue to be considered one for any subsequent comments by them, otherwise they have no reason to take a position. This could set up a presentation by them at City council if we decide to go that route. If you have been reading Mike Christie lately you may know that a big push in Ottawa got put on the "public education" back burner. P.S. could my work email david.trowbridge@saultc.on.ca be added to the officers and pest list as I read it daily but often don't get to the computer at home.
