1.  Tree Mulch this Saturday!

Trees and Tree Mulch Event

Tree seedlings and mulch, left over from last January's Christmas tree 
recycling event, will be available to the public on Saturday 19 August 2006 
from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Algoma University, 1520 Queen Street East, 
Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

Please bring your own containers.  Clean North volunteers will be on hand 
to assist filling containers and loading them into vehicles.  There is no 
charge for the mulch but donations to Clean North will be appreciated.

Clean North also has a limited number of Red Pine and White Spruce tree 
seedlings available at the nominal price of fifty cents each or three trees 
for one dollar.

What have you got?  Articles, haiku, cartoons, all wanted!  Trip reports? 
Been anywhere lately and noticed their environmental practices?  We'd all

4.  We need a Treasurer

Ralph has us nicely set up in Simply Accounting, so it's not too bad a job. 
We write about ten to fifteen cheques a month, have to keep track of them, 
balance the chequebook, create financial statements using the output from 
Simply, and fill in one form a year - the Charitable Information Return.
