Forgive me, but I didn't want you to miss this fun time - bring the kids!
The SSM Green Party is planning an igloo-building party on Saturday the 21st of January.
Isaac Appaqaq, a Sault resident and Inuk from the Belcher Islands, is going to lead an igloo-building party tomorrow. Green Party candidate Mark Viitala will be helping at various times throughout the day, in between his other campaign obligations. Everyone is welcome to come and help make snow blocks and carry them and see how a real Inuit igloo is made. When it's done, we'll plant a Green flag in the top.
Location: lower Church Street, in the parking lot at 55 Church (Humphrey Aircraft Services). West side of the street, halfway between Queen St. and the river.
Start: early morning Finish: very late afternoon (dark!) Your help wanted: any time all day Bring: hot drinks, snacks, your friends, your sense of humour Dress in layers if you plan to stay awhile.

If I seem to take part in politics, it is only because politics
encircles us today like the coil of a snake from which one cannot
get out, no matter how much one tries. I wish therefore to wrestle
with the snake.
