1.  Window display

Anyone want to help put together a festive display for the Clean North 
office window?

It's sort of cluttered-looking now, and tired - hasn't been changed in 
awhile.  Next Thursday is the late night shopping night in Queenstown, so 
it would sure be nice to have a holiday-themed window for that, and to 
carry us through the season.

The group that gets together to take this on gets carte blanche to decide 
what to do, but a few ideas were tossed out to get you started:  Dress the 
rainbarrel as Santa, something about Green Gifts, feature the orphan 
Christmas Tree ornaments we've collected at tree chipping ("Lose 
something?").  Or none of the above, you will probably have a much better 
idea...

If you can devote two hours or so to this fun project, phone the office at 
945-1573, or email kathie@cleannorth.org (with your phone number), and 
we'll put you in touch with the others who volunteer for this.  Thanks!

2.  Newsletter

The winter issue deadline is December first.  Have any stories to share? 
Your name in print!  Or anonymity, whichever you prefer...

email stories, limericks, haiku, quotes, statistics (well, maybe not 
statistics!) to ed@cleannorth.org.

3.  Christmas Tree Chipping

Will be January 8.  Trees can be dropped at the Cambrian Mall site from 26 
December to Saturday the 7th of January.  We'll chip them first thing in 
the morning on the 8th.

Parents and others with youth in your lives:  this is a great opportunity 
for them to collect their high school community service hours.  Have them 
email volunteer@cleannorth.org for more information.
