There's a paper newsletter on its way to you. But just in case it doesn't get there in time, this is to alert you to the Vehicle Emissions Clinic next week.
Tuesday and Wednesday, the 22nd and 23rd, we will be in the parking lot at Canadian Tire, along with Environment Canada technicians, to test vehicle emissions. If you drive a gas-powered vehicle (car, minivan, light truck) please bring it by for a visit!
It runs from 10 am to 7 pm. We're at the mercy of Env. Can.'s schedule as they travel across the country with this, so we didn't get to pick the dates. They came last year, and in 1998, so we don't know when they'll be back again. Don't miss this if you can help it!
It's a very valuable service. It's free, and if your car doesn't pass, there's no fines or penalties of any kind. Just good advice about what's wrong, so that your mechanic can get it fixed, saving our air quality and saving you gas money.
