members - volunteers needed

Hello, a supplemental volunteer call, to last week's message about the
computer recycling event.

We need you! Opportunities include:

1. Sales. We need Clean North members, not the tech help that swarms
around us for this event, but our members who can be counted upon to
handle the cash. It's a garage sale of used computer equipment, and you
don't need technical skills - that part is covered by the tech
volunteers.
Needed from 10 am to 4 pm Saturday. But we'll be very grateful for two
hours of that time, if you can. Call Kathie at 949-3862 and leave a
message with your name and the time you can help.

2. Physical labour. We need people to pull little wheelie carts that
are piled up with computer equipment. Pull them from the drop off point
to our techies, pull them in from vehicles, pull them out to the
transport to be loaded, you name it! We need you from 6 to 9 pm Friday,
9 am to 5 pm Saturday, and even Monday morning at 9, if you have that
time slot open. Again, we're grateful for two hours.

3. Vehicular labour. We need some help getting all the stuff from the
office to the event. Do you have a pickup or a Suburban, or even a
station wagon or SUV you could help us out with? That would be Friday
late afternoon or right after work. Please call the office at 945-1573.

Coffee and cold drinks will be on the whole time, and lunch on Saturday
is being catered, so our volunteers will be well provided for. The
event is at St. Jerome's Church hall this time, off Nicolas Street
(beside Pino's IGA). It is always a hectic, exciting time, and lots of
fun! Bring your family's young people, too, because there's lots to see
and do and it's very educational! And volunteers get to scavenge the
junk (you can tell the kids that, or not, as you see fit!)
