BOYD update

We are almost set to go...

Transpro has agreed to supply up to 3 trailers!!!

Randy left a message that the he is pretty sure that the city is going to finance at least part (if not all) of the cost of the monitors. He can't confirm it because Pat McAuley is on holidays and Randy is leaving for vacation tomorrow and won't be back until Sept.5.

PUC has not said "no" yet...therefore we are probably in there for September 28-29...I will be able to confirm this by next Friday.

Adler/Sears are saving boxes.

Tricycle has confirmed the same costs for monitors...$6, $8 and $10....with a $6 credit for all useable monitors.

I have not heard back from ASI.

My preference is to go with TRIcycle ie. pay for the monitors and keep our "garbage" in Ontario. If we can't raise the money to cover the monitors....then we go with the alternate recycler (who does not charge but has strict shipping/packing instructions and sends the monitors to India). I think that we should charge $3/monitor regardless of how we dispose of them.

I will hold off on final confirmation and public announcements until after Labor Day.

Have a great weekend.

Peter

Only after the last tree has been cut down
Only after the last river has been poisoned
Only after the last fish has been caught
Only then will you find that money cannot be eaten
