RE: BOYD volunteer meeting [Was: Re: Boyd...sign]

Dan and I have agreed - 7 pm on the 7th. If I'm delayed getting back from Thunder Bay, he will conduct the meeting.

Agenda:

Overview of purposes of BOYD (recycling, making $ for CN, giving computers to charities)
Material Flow and jobs (flow chart, triage, job descriptions)
Safety lecture (cords, power supplies, monitors, firing volunteers who violate our safety rules)
Rules for volunteers purchasing/taking unsold items (pay if it doesn't go on the table, free at 4 pm if it was on the table)

Folks:

I really need a confirmed date/time for the technical volunteers meeting.

If it is going to be on the 7th as Dan suggests then we can't wait until
the CN meeting on the 6th to confirm it. If it's another date than
please decide and let me know.

Kathie/Dan, it's your show and your call. Please advise. Thanks

Don

I hope. I don't know anything for certain. I think we usually hold it
on t

he second Wednesday before the event. That would be the 7th. Is this
feasable? (7pm?)

How are we for volunteers? Have we got the word out to the tech
regulars? Mike, Giselle, Grizzly, Cliff, Andrew, Kevin, Chris,
Theguywhosenameialwaysforgetbutisreallyamazing? If not, do we have an
archive of phone numbers anywhere?

In any event, we'll be needing more people for disassembly and parts
testing. There are a few people from last time I hope we can get back.
Sean, Marty. I can't think of anyone from last time I wouldn't have
back.

You usually do a great job of finding people for this, Don. Am I
correct in
believing you can do so again?
