Re: BOYD

Hi, I wanted to send this out to the whole group. Hans Geenen at the
Station Mall returned my call and they have a site for us. Pros: it's
nice and big (not quite as big as RJs but that was more than we needed. It
has a big back door, and two front doors onto the mall (so we can leave one
closed and control entrance).
Cons: it doesn't have access to that nice lift gate, if we need to pallet
the load we'll have to do it on the truck itself. And it's available from
the 15th to the 20th of April, which is later than we had planned.

The date is key if we're going to do much around Earth Day. If we need our
volunteers at the Bike Workshop for an opening event on the same day, for
example, it could be tense. But at this point I don't know what the Bike
Workshop has planned, if anything, and maybe their date can be flexible.
Also I don't know how many of us will be wanted there.

I've followed up with Northern Breweries as Don suggested and that space
won't be good for us (NB doesn't like the idea). The Cambrian Mall seems
to have lots of space, but I haven't approached them because Hans was so
keen last time and I thought I should give him first go at providing our
location if possible.

So, do we say yes to Hans and go with the 20th? or shall I call the
Cambrian and we stick with our earlier plan for the 6th or the 13th? Your
vote wanted, please.
