update

A few wrinkles have come up...

The garage door is one foot too low for a transport and the loading dock is 8 inches too low. They must hve beeen built to an old standard. I am going to have to get a forklift to get the pallets onto the truck. I think I can get one from Sault Disposal ???

Avery's have empty "flatbeds" heading east, but no closed box. They do have empty "box" trailers available, but they have to be "scheduled". (Steve...are they still going to provide them for free??? I have no idea how many we may need.)

I have 15 pallets loaded for Montreal and 5 for Toronto. We will need at least 2 trailers. We may have to store the books for a longer period until a trailer is available.

The Trbovich name is off the sign but the "backing" is still up so that we can fasten a large sign on both sides indicating our location. (The NEW Trbovich Centre is on Sackville Road...this may confuse some people.)

The City is going to promote our event in the paper this weekend. Any/all publicity will be great!

Workers...
-at least 3 strong backs at all times just to move boxes.
-at least one person just to greet and  direct traffic
-at least one person to supervise the loading of the pallets

Materials...
pallet jack
shrink wrap
dollys/carts to "drag" boxes
water/liquid refreshment
TP/paper towels...for the washroom
2 signs...enter and exit
donation box and CN sign
thank you signs

The Separate School Board has a delivery schedule for 8 am Wed.

That's all for now
